This project, led by Dr. Swati Guha, aims at documenting the daily usage of the two Tibeto-Burman languages Toto (glottocode: toto1302) and Rabha (glottocode: rabh1238), and the archiving of digital documents of these. Both languages are from the West Bengal, one one the eastern states of India. While Rabha has more than 100’000 speakers, Toto is spoken by slightly more than 1’000 people and is undergoing language shift.
